Where were you and what were you thinking on 9/11?
"When a thought of war comes, oppose it by a stronger thought of peace." 11 years ago I wrote this song, which is based on quotations from the Baha'i Writings. This is what was on my mind. Our thoughts create our reality, even our world. Let our thoughts be thoughts of peace.

Am really lovin this track. One of my favourite quotations, also one of the most difficult things to do. To answer the question on that day 9/11 I was with friends on the coast and it was our last day. I just caught glimpses of what had happened but the full horror of it had not sunk in till I heard the scale of destruction and saw the footage. Being so far away from it we were still deeply affected and here in South Africa you can imagine there was intense discussion debate, confusion, anger etc. Everyone seems to be polarised these days, pro 'this' and anti 'that'... We then drove home but got stuck ina snow storm halfway and got snowbound ina small little backpacker up in the drakensburg mountains, definitely an unforgettable time.
